Pedestrian dies in accident

A pedestrian perished in an accident along Bushy Park Main Road, St Philip, about 8:50 p.m. on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Anthony Outram, 44 years, of nearby Oughterson Road.

Initial investigations revealed that the van involved, which was owned by the Barbados Police Service, was travelling along the road from the direction of Beulah, going towards Bushy Park racing circuit, when the fatal collision occurred.

The pedestrian was on the same side as the vehicle.

Police responded and are carrying out investigations. (PR/SAT)
