Josh Burke continues to surf the waves extremely well in Santa Cruz, San Francisco.

The Barbadian moved into the Round of 16 yesterday at the 2023 Premier Professional World Surf League O’Neill Cold Water Classic at the famous Steamer Lane Surf Break.

Burke, 26, scored a commendable 10.84 to finish second in heat two of the men’s round of 32.

“I am very excited to have reached the Round of 16. The waves are fun and, hopefully, I could keep the ball rolling and keep having momentums through these heats,” he said.  (ML)
