Luther Thorne Memorial Primary School will be closed for the remainder of the week.
A release from the Ministry of Education Technological and Vocational Training says “further information will be sent concerning the way forward for next week” for students and staff at the Wildey, St Michael school.
“This closure is to facilitate meetings with staff and Ministry personnel and further evaluation of the school plant. The Ministry apologises for this late notice and inconvenience caused.”
This week, parents and teachers have complained about various structural and environmental problems at the school. (PR/SAT)
