Fatal accident along ABC Highway

A motor cyclist was pronounced dead at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) on Monday night after a collision with a car.

He has been identified as Learie Neil Carasco, 50 years, of #2 Hill Crest Avenue, Fort George Heights, St Michael.

The fatal accident occurred around 9:45 p.m. on the Barrow section of the ABC Highway at the junction with Mount Friendship road.

The driver is a 58-year-old man from Parish Land, Christ Church, but his identity has not been disclosed by police.

Both vehicles were traveling south along the highway when they collided. Carasco was later pronounced dead at the QEH.
