Many people are not spending as before to celebrate New Year’s Eve, some entrepreneurs have revealed.
However, a few business owners said they were still pleased with their holiday earnings when a Sunday Sun team did a round-up yesterday.
Owner of Martindale’s clothing store at City Centre Mall, Bridgetown, Marcia Martindale said, “This year, my customers were very cautious in spending but they did spend which I am thankful for.”
Owner of Luxified Store246 Yashiba Henry, made similar comments.
She said although they were a few people at the City Centre Mall business, it was nothing compared to the rush they experienced leading up to Christmas. (TSG)
