The completion of the proposed Multi-Sport Complex at the Netball Stadium, prize money for a new Premier League, major sponsorship and stipends for national players are among the New Year’s wishes of the Barbados Netball Association (BNA).

BNA president Dr Carmeta Douglin shared her executive board’s wish list for the new year while wishing all members of clubs and teams, officials, sponsors and everyone who made a contribution to the success of the 2023 netball year a very happy and prosperous 2024.

“The BNA Inc. certainly looks forward to the support of all for a successful 2024 netball year and as we look further ahead to 2025 and the celebration of 50 years of netball in Barbados,” she noted in a statement from the association’s board of directors.

Heading the BNA’s wishes is the completion of the Multi-Sport Complex at the Netball Stadium by April 2024, to facilitate the playing of matches during the domestic season. (EZS)
