The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) is pressing ahead with repair work at the Hampton Pumping Station in St Philip.

Crews are currently working at lifting the damaged pump out of the well. It will be replaced and a new one put into operation.

The BWA continues to urge customers to store an adequate amount of water for their households to help tide them over while the pipe-borne supply is off.

The Authority’s Water Tanker team will continue to assist residents in the districts impacted by low pressure or a water outage as a result of the work, in the interim. (PR/SAT)
