Fire destroys home at River Land

A woman is assisting police with their investigations into a morning fire at River Land, St Philip.

Keith Gittens, 53, who owns and occupies the home, was not there when fire started around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The one bedroom wooden house, which was uninsured, was destroyed. The blaze was extinguished at 9:37 am. 

In addition to the police, two fire tenders and nine fire officers, lead by Divisional Officer Tremelle Perch and Station Officer Fernando Mccallister, were on scene. (PR/SAT)
