Education reform should only be executed after adequate research and testing has been done.

Director of the University of the West Indies School of Education, Professor S. Joel Warrican, shared that view by urging Caribbean leaders not to base their education transformation efforts on the United States or British models.

He made those comments last Wednesday following the opening of America (US) session of the Meeting of the Eastern Caribbean Joint Board of Teacher Education (JBTE) at Shell Solution Centre, Cave Hill campus, St Michael.
