The state has been put on notice by the lawyer for former Deputy Speaker of the House Neil Gabriel Rowe.

He wants the results of the DNA tests done on articles of clothing sent overseas for examination.

King’s Counsel Michael Lashley made the application when Rowe made a second appearance in the No. 5 Supreme Court.

Rowe, 43, of Kingsland Terrace, Christ Church, who is Member of Parliament for St Michael North West, is accused of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a woman, on September 18, 2022, without her consent, or knowing that she did not consent or was reckless as to whether she consented.
