The Lester Vaughan School will be closed for the remainder of the week.

Officials from the Ministry of Education are currently at the school at Cane Garden, St Thomas, meeting with teachers.

The school has been plagued by environmental problems and last Thursday and Friday, it was closed after more than 30 teachers reported feeling ill.

Classes will take place online on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Environmental testing is being done to determine the root cause of the problems, while the Ministry has undertaken a programme to sanitise the plant.

More details as they come. (Nation News)
