 95 more Covid-19 cases

Barbados has recorded another 95 COVID-19 cases.

The latest dashboard released by the Barbados Government Information Service yesterday showed they were recorded for the period January 20 to February 16.

The new cases – 56 males and 39 females – were from 986 tests conducted by laboratories across the island. Four of the people are under the age of 18.

There were no deaths during the period.

The laboratories have conducted 814 159 tests since February 2020 and recorded 110 595 COVID-19 cases (49 859 males and 60 716 females). There have been 648 deaths since February 2020.

Under the National COVID-19 Vaccination Programme, the number of people with at least one dose is 163 853 (60.5 per cent of the total population). Those fully vaccinated are 155 045 (57.2 per cent of the total population). (HG/PR)
