Self-confessed manslayers Keenon Tristan Jason Chase and Michael Shane Olijuan James will be sentenced next month in the
No. 2 Supreme Court.

Chase, of King William Street, and James, of Ashby Alley, Nelson Street, both in The City, had pleaded guilty to unlawfully killing Dwayne Andre Forde, a route taxi driver, formerly of Ruby Park, St Philip, on May 6, 2018. They were originally arraigned with murdering Forde on the same date and had been scheduled to go on trial when they changed their pleas.

James is being represented by King’s Counsel Michael Lashley and attorney Simon Clarke, and Chase by attorney Safiya Moore.

Principal State Counsel Oliver Thomas and State Counsel Dr Zoe King appeared for the prosecution.

Justice Randall Worrell will sentence the two on March 1.
