Schoolboy stabbed

A 15-year-old boy was stabbed during an altercation outside the Parkinson Memorial School.

The victim reportedly ran into the yard of the nearby Licensing Authority where he was attacked and injured at about 10:45 a.m.

The victim was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Q.E.H) in a private motor vehicle. He is presently stable but in serious condition.

Investigations are continuing into this matter. Anyone who can provide any information that can assist with these investigations is asked to call the District ‘A’ Police Station at 430-7242, Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1800-TIPS (8477) or the nearest Police Station.
