STEVEN BELLE is pleading with the National Housing Corporation (NHC) to return the Government unit which he and his grandmother occupied at Denton Road, Grazettes, St Michael, for the past 27 years.

The 52-year-old told the DAILY NATION that after spending three years on remand at Dodds Prison, he went home only to discover that a woman was living in the house.

An upset Belle said the situation rendered him homeless and he has been sleeping on a couch in someone’s verandah and bathing in a public bath for the past several months, while waiting anxiously for the NHC to rectify the situation. (MB)
