Combermere are on course to win both the girls and boys divisions after an exhilarating Day 3 of this year’s Dasani Powerade Barbados Secondary School Athletics Championship (BSSAC) at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex.

The school located in Waterford, St Michael sit comfortably at the summit of the Boys category on 201 points, 44 points clear of nearest challengers Harrison College who have 157. Queen’s College rounded out the top three with 136 points.

The battle for the crown in the Girls’ division is a two horse race between Combermere (202) and The St Michael School (188.50) as just 13 points separate the two. Alleyne are third in the Boys’ category with 139 points with defending champions Harrison College close behind them on 129 points. 

Defending champions Springer Memorial are currently in fifth position with 103 points.
