PM Mottley thanks Parliament and staff

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, last night, thanked all the Members of Parliament, representatives of the security forces, the media and staff of individual ministries for their work over the past few weeks.

In her brief remarks just before Day 3 concluded at minutes to midnight in the House of Assembly for this year’s 2024 Financial Statement and Budgetary Proposals, Mottley said, “this is not easy work.”

“This is our high time of the year,” she added, referring to the last four weeks.

She also thanked the Speaker of the House, referring to the dignity with which he carried out his duties.

The next sitting of Parliament will be on March 28 at 3 p.m. (CCM)
