Government Hill and Welches Roads to be closed for video shoot

The link road between Government Hill and Welches Road in St. Michael will be closed to road users on Sunday, April 7, between 5.30 a.m. and 11.30 a.m.
to facilitate the filming of a public service announcement on behalf of the Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW).
Public Service Vehicles (PSVs) heading into Bridgetown from Government Hill will still have access, however all other motorists will be required to divert.
Motorists heading into Bridgetown via Government Hill will be diverted through Welches Terrace. Road users approaching Government Hill from Tweedside Road will be diverted left or right at the traffic lights. While motorists travelling from Welches Road will not be allowed to turn left onto Government Hill; they will be directed to continue straight. Those approaching Government
Hill from Belmont Road will need to detour onto Pine Hill Road or Pine Road. Motorists are asked to follow the directions of the signage and the traffic wardens. Persons are also encouraged to use alternate routes if possible.
