Vendor owns up to assault of cop

He was “tased” four or five times by police and that’s why, said Jason Omar Trotman, he pushed a lawman
off him.

So said the 41-year-old vendor, of Forde’s Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael, when he appeared in the District “A” Traffic Court yesterday.

Trotman had just pleaded guilty to assaulting Constable Tristan Alexander, occasioning him actual bodily harm, on April 6.

He, however, denied resisting Alexander and assaulting Dion Clinton-Carrington on the same date.
