Defending champions Tennis Centre will host Paragon this weekend in the first semi-final of the Barbados Tennis Association (BTA) Inter-Club Competition.

Unbeaten league leaders Barbados Yacht Club will take on Pure Tennis in the second semi-final, with both matches taking place on Saturday.

The draw took place yesterday at the National Tennis Centre in Wildey, St Michael.

After the group stage, Yacht Club emerged as the leader of the standings, playing all five matches unbeaten. Defending champions Tennis Centre finished second while Paragon and Pure Tennis were third and fourth, respectively.

In the last round of matches, Yacht Club made light work of Paragon in a 58-24 victory. Pure Tennis fell to narrow 50-48 defeat against bottom placed Ocean View and Tennis Centre eased past Summerhayes 46-37.

The final will take place on April 20 at the National Tennis Centre. (JC)
