Uncapped Barbadian DUO Joshua Bishop and Kadeem Alleyne have been selected in the West Indies ‘A’ Team’s 15-member squad, captained by compatriot Roston Chase, for a historic maiden five-match Twenty20 tour of Nepal which bowls off on Saturday at Tribhuvan University.

Bishop and Alleyne, both 23, will be joined by a fourth Bajan in 21-year-old fast bowler Matthew Forde, who played his only T20 International for West Indies against England at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad and Tobago last December.

Bishop starred for the West Indies Cricket Academy in the just concluded West Indies Four-Day Championship, topping the bowling charts with 42 wickets at 20.07 runs apiece with his left-arm spin. He also showed his worth with the bat, scoring 252 runs at an average of 22.90 in the lower order.

He has made 15 appearances in T20 franchise cricket, capturing 12 wickets at an economy rate of 7.55 runs per over.
