The Barbados Association of Administrative Professionals (BAAP) is seeking to add more men to its ranks.

President Janet Sealey said the association now covered a wide range of professions so they were looking
for a few good men.

“We are doing a special drive to capture the attention of more men. The thing is, we are moving away from just secretarial jobs and are seeing more administrative jobs, so if you work in professions such as accounts or public relations, you can also become a member, you don’t have to be a secretarial clerk/typist – any office professional we are willing to embrace in our association,” she said.

Sealey was speaking to the Weekend Nation on Wednesday after the first half of a luncheon seminar in commemoration of Administrative Professionals’ Day at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, Two Mile Hill, St Michael.
