The investigation into the body discovered in a well in St George is at a sensitive stage, say police.

The badly decomposing body of a female was found on April 21 along Carmichael Road, behind Bulkeley factory, following a search by a large party formed to look for missing Sonia Parris, 58, of Edey Village, Christ Church. An employee of Chefette Wildey, St Michael, Parris was last seen leaving work on April 17.

When asked for an update on Tuesday, Public Affairs and Communications Officer Inspector Rodney Inniss said: “That matter is at a sensitive stage of investigation. I wouldn’t want to offer any further comment at this time on that particular matter. If there’s anything else, we will update you but right now we are still at a very sensitive stage and investigations are ongoing.” (CA)
