Fire fighters battled another huge fire at B’s Recycling, Cane Garden, St Thomas yesterday.

Acting Divisional Officer of the Barbados Fire Service Wayne Vaughan said the fire was reported around 4:59 p.m. and four appliances and 16 officers responded to the blaze which mainly destroyed cardboard boxes.

Although the fire, its thick billowing smoke seen from miles away, was intense, Vaughan said they were able to get the situation under control with no injuries reported. (TG)
