BWA conducting emergency repairs in St. George

The Barbados Water Authority is today, Wednesday, May 8th advising residents and businesses in parts of St. George that it is currently conducting emergency repairs on a large diameter main in the vicinity of Applewhaites.  

As a result, customers in Applewhaites Tenantry, Locust Hall Tenantry, Locust Hall, Market Hill, Belairs, Upper Belairs, Old Post Office Road, Cottage Grove, Bridge Cot, Bridge Cot Terrace, Newbury, Gun Hill and the surrounding areas may be affected by a water outage or low pressure. 

Water tankers have been deployed to assist.  

The Barbados Water Authority apologises for the inconvenience this emergency repair at Applewhaites, St. George may cause. (BWA)
