One cyclist is dead following a collision on Coles Cave Road, St Lucy this morning.
The accident, which involved a car and a cyclist, occurred around 8:45 a.m. near the Grape Hall Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
The cyclist was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance but died while receiving treatment.
The cyclist has been identified as 58-year-old Junior Scott of Lot 1 B, Quarry Road, Arthur Seat, St. Thomas.
Investigations are currently ongoing.
This marks the ninth road traffic fatality of the year.
