Police are due to lay charges against three people held in connection with the death of Sonia Suzette Parris, a former employee of Chefette Restaurants.

Reliable police sources told the DAILY NATION that a man who was connected to the 58-year-old woman, as well as a woman and her boyfriend who allegedly lured her on the day she went missing, were to be charged yesterday.

Parris, of Edey Village, Christ Church, vanished on April 17. She was last seen leaving Chefette’s Wildey, St Michael branch around 10 p.m.

Her disappearance sparked searches by her family, police and members of the public which came to a halt with the discovery of a female body four days later, in a well at Carmichael Road, St George, behind Bulkeley Factory.

Police have not yet confirmed if the body was that of Parris.

Meanwhile, additional reports indicate that police will also be charging a man in connection with the death of 40-year-old Shawn Maynard, whose lifeless body was discovered in a cart road at Marley Vale, St Philip, on April 25.

His father Trevor Mason told the media at the time that the killing looked like a “hide and hit” because his son still had his bag on his back and cell phone in his hand.
