The Ministry of Transport and Works will commence resurfacing Probyn Street in The City tonight, Monday, June 3, 2024, as part of their Accelerated Mill and Pave Programme.

The C. O. Williams Construction Team will carry out the milling and paving operations from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. over the next two nights.

During this period, local and emergency access will be maintained. However, road users are encouraged to take alternative routes to avoid potential delays. Traffic from Fairchild Street will be rerouted towards River Road, while motorists from Independence Square will be directed onto The Wharf Road.

Motorists are urged to follow signage and instructions from flag persons, and to navigate construction zones with caution.

MTW and the C.O. Williams Construction team apologize for any inconvenience this work may cause and thanks persons for their cooperation. (PR/MTW)
