Police investigating unnatural death at Drax Hall

The Barbados Police ServiceĀ (BPS) is investigating the unnatural death of 67-year-old Jerry Adolphus Alleyne of Drax Hall Woods.

On Saturday, at approximately 10:55 a.m., the Operations Control Room received a telephone call reporting a man fallen from the roof of his house at Drax Hall Woods, St. George and appearing lifeless.

Officers responded to the scene and were pointed to the body of Alleyne. A medical doctor pronounced him dead at the scene.

Initial reports from the scene indicate that Alleyne was performing repairs to the galvanized sheets on the roof of his house when he lost his balance and fell to the ground.

The Barbados Police Service is continuing its investigations into this matter.
