DJ Puffy’s sold-out NY set makes history

Internationally acclaimed Andre “DJ Puffy” Parris has once again made headlines.

He collaborated with New York-based groups Fun and Friends and the Carib Biz Network to launch an ‘Open Close’ event, as part of the American Heritage Month celebrations in the United States on Saturday.

The four to five hour long groundbreaking performance was sold out to 1200 at Industry City and highlighted the rich cultural contributions of the Caribbean, while aiming to promote business opportunities within the diaspora.

The Red Bull 3style World DJ champion said: “This event was more than just a performance, it was a celebration of Caribbean culture and unity. Being able to share my music and connect with the audience on such an intimate level was an incredible experience”.

He added, the event “was a testament to my prowess, stamina and immersive musical journey that left the crowd buzzing from start to finish”.

DJ Puffy is a Barbadian DJ and music producer who rose to international fame after winning the Red Bull 3style World DJ championship in 2016. He is known for his energetic performances and innovative mixing style which has solidified his place in the global music scene. (KNB/PR)
