Teen shot dead at Gall Hill

A 19-year-old man was shot dead and four others injured at the corner of Crescent Road & Upper Gall Hill Road, Christ Church on Wednesday.

The teen was identified as Zakhir Avion Kimani Goodridge of the same address.

Police said the shooting was reported at about 9:27 am on the compound of the Aberdeen Jones Centre & Market.

Lawmen said a number of young men were liming, when a lone gunman walked into the area and started shooting. The assailant then ran away through a gap. After the melee, one male was left motionless on the ground.

The injured individuals were all transported to hospital with injuries that were said to be non-life-threatening.
