Survey: Business folk upbeat about economy

Now that the tourism sector is rebounding, many business leaders are more confident about the economy’s potential.

They, however, believe more needs to be done to diversify the economy and significantly improve the ease of doing business.

Those were some of the findings Ernst & Young (EY) managing partner, strategy and transactions, Christopher Sambrano, revealed from an EY and Barbados Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI) Business Confidence Survey.

He was speaking at the BCCI’s offices at Braemar Court, Deighton Road, St Michael. (TG)
