American Airlines issues travel alert to customers

American Airlines has issued a travel alert in light of tracking Hurricane Beryl to allow customers whose travel plans are affected to rebook without change fees. 

Customers can reschedule their flight on aa.com or by contacting Reservations at 800-433-7300 in the United States or Canada. 

On Tuesday, July 2, American plans to operate three extra flights from Barbados (BGI) to Miami (MIA) in addition to its regular MIA and Charlotte (CLT) service. Below is the tentative schedule for today: AA9600 MIABGI arrive 9:50 a.m. depart 10:50 a.m., AA9601 MIABGI arrive 11:35 a.m. depart 12:35 p.m., AA862 MIABGI arrive 1:55 p.m. depart 2:55 p.m., AA862 MIABGI arrive 1:55 p.m. depart 2:55 p.m., AA1303 CLTBGI arrive 2:35 p.m. depart 3:40 p.m. and AA9602 MIABGI arrive 4:25 p.m. depart 5:25 p.m. (PR)
