Pathology lab staff protest

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s (QEH) pathology laboratory staff and the National Union of Public Workers (NUPW) will meet with new chief executive officer Neil Clarke on Monday on years-long environmental problems.

The meeting followed some staff members refusing to enter the laboratory while holding signs such as Years of talk no action!!!, We save lives, save ours too!!! and ” Lab lives matter.

Acting general secretary of the NUPW Wayne Walrond said staff members were falling ill regularly. (CA)
