Sagicor Bank (Barbados) and the Transport Board have successfully partnered to unveil a brand new Sagicor Bank-branded Transport Board bus with a wrap emblazoned with images of Barbadian, double World Championship bronze medallist, Sada Williams.

The bus was unveiled at the Sagicor Bank headquarters in Worthing, Christ Church yesterday morning in an official outdoor ceremony where chief executive officer of Sagicor Bank, George Thomas, expressed his excitement and delight to be part of such an important venture.

“This is really a moment of great pride for us at Sagicor Bank and Sagicor generally and the Transport Board to partner as public entities that serve Barbados to come together behind what represents the best of us. At Sagicor, we are inspired by the upward trajectory of Sada, who has been progressively getting better results which is something we at Sagicor emulate. We hopefully inspire her, but she certainly inspires us,” Thomas said.

Thomas also referenced Williams’ timely season’s best clocking of 49.80 seconds in the women’s 400 metres at the Jamaica National Championships last monthend.
