Suspended General Secretary of the Democratic Labour Party (DLP), Steve Blackett, must wait a little longer to know his fate.

The disciplinary committee meeting scheduled yesterday at party headquarters on George Street, Belleville, St Michael, was postponed until a date to be determined. The reason was unknown up to press time.

When contacted, acting general secretary Pedro Shepherd would only say that the “decision to postpone the meeting was taken on Monday”. (CLM)
