Police have identified the deceased female found at a residence in Work Hall, St Philip, as Joanna Ariella Safia Branch, 20, of Hopewell, Christ Church.
Emergency services received a report around 3:40 p.m. indicating that a lifeless female with multiple injuries was discovered. Upon arrival, the police patrol unit confirmed the report.
A person of interest, identified as another female, is currently in custody assisting police with the investigation.
