Road traffic fatality in St James

Police responded to a report of a fatal road traffic collision this morning in St James. The victim has been identified as Anderson Rudolph Lewis, a 63-year-old resident of Crick Hill, St. James.

Lewis was walking along Upper Crick Hill when he became involved in a collision with a truck just outside his residence. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

This marks the 11th road traffic fatality from 10 fatal collisions in Barbados for the year 2024.

Investigations are ongoing.
