A 20-year-old man was shot and killed on Friday at about 9:21 p.m. at Seaegg Avenue, Breedy Land, Christ Church.
The victim has been identified as Darian Ward of Silver Sands, Christ Church.
Lawmen said they received a report via telephone call that a man had received a gunshot wound to his chest and he was unresponsive.
Ward was transported to hospital by a private motorcar which was escorted by police. He succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical treatment.
