The Barbados Police Service is appealing to the public for assistance in locating Akyem Tafari Wharton, also known as ‘Pickings’ or ‘Rat.’
Wharton is wanted for questioning in connection with serious criminal matters.
Wharton, whose last known address is Sobers Lane, Tudor Street, St. Michael, is approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, of a slim build, and brown complexion.
Authorities have advised Wharton to present himself to the Criminal Investigations Department at the District ‘A’ Police Station, Station Hill, St. Michael, accompanied by an attorney of his choice.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Akyem Tafari Wharton is urged to contact the C.I.D. at the District ‘A’ Police Station at 430-7270 or 430-7295, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477), or any police station.
The public is also reminded that it is a serious offence to harbour or assist wanted individuals. Those found doing so may face prosecution.
