The Barbados Police Service has charged 17-year-old Tynone Alex Searles of Wotton, Christ Church, with the murder of Zakhir Goodridge, that took place on 12th June, 2024.

Searles has been jointly charged with Jahlanny Tremaine Yarde for the murder.
In addition to the murder charge, he has been formally charged with a series of other serious offences stemming from the same incident.
These include unlawful possession of a firearm, endangering the life of Remon Francis, and inflicting serious bodily harm on four individuals: Antwoine Pollard, Makai James, Marcus Bourne, and Azori Clarke.
He is set to appear before Magistrate Deidre McKenna at the Oistins Magistrate Courts on today, Monday, 16th September.
