This proposal aims to alleviate judicial worries that Diddy might try to influence or threaten victims or witnesses. Furthermore, Diddy has committed in the legal documents to avoiding all contact with known grand jury witnesses and consenting to weekly drug tests.
The indictment against the rapper highlights his drug use, revealing that his notorious “freak-off” parties were often powered by drugs like cocaine, ketamine, GHB, MDMA (Ecstasy), among others. Moreover, authorities disclosed that they discovered narcotics in his New York City hotel room during his arrest on Monday.
Diddy’s monetary proposal remains unchanged in the updated bail package, which outlines a $50 million bond, backed by his Miami mansion and his mother’s residence.
Following Tuesday’s hearing, Diddy was apprehended and is currently being held at Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) Brooklyn in New York. The producer will stay there while his trial is ongoing, unless he is released on bail. Throughout this ordeal, P Diddy and his legal representatives have consistently asserted his innocence.
