No injuries in excavator incident

The CO Williams Construction Team has confirmed that an excavator overturned at Retreat Beach in St. Peter on Sunday during work aimed at reducing coastal erosion.

The incident occurred opposite Port Ferdinand.

No injuries were reported in the incident. However, CO Williams stated that the operator will be medically assessed out of an abundance of caution.

The company expressed gratitude to members of the Six Men’s community and the wider public for showing their concern following the incident.

CO Williams Construction extended thanks to the public for their “continued support.”
