Fire at Banks Breweries Ltd

Firefighters were called to Banks Breweries Ltd at Newton Industrial Estate this morning following a fire report around 7:39 a.m.

The fire broke out on the first floor of the brewery’s microlab, but officers were able to quickly contain and extinguish it.

According to Deputy Chief Fire Officer Henderson Patrick, crews from the Bridgetown, Worthing and St John Fire Stations responded to the scene.

Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing and all operations have been put on hold until the all-clear is given.
