Man on murder charge remanded

A man appeared in court yesterday charged in connection with the killing of a family member who was attending a viewing of a relative at Paramount Funeral Home.

Romel Andre Williams, a 42-year-old bartender of 2nd Avenue, Edey Village, Christ Church, was not required to plead to the charge of murdering Trevor Devere Bradshaw, 63, of 3rd Avenue Deanes Village, Hindsbury Road, St Michael, on October 25.

He was represented by King’s Counsel Michael Lashley.

Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes remanded the accused to Dodds Prison until November 28, when the accused will reappear in court.
