Running for Better Health

Running can be an exhilarating test of endurance, a quiet meditation, or even just a way to clear your mind on a busy day.

For Mario Parris, it has become all those things and more – a journey of growth, self-discovery, and connection. From pre-dawn training sessions to international races brimming with excitement, his story is a testament to the power of showing up, embracing the process, and finding joy in the steps along the way.

Mario’s foray into running wasn’t born from a lifelong dream. It began as a practical decision – a way to stay active and challenge himself. Over time, however, it became something far greater.

“I never thought I’d be waking up at 3 a.m. to run in Holetown, much less training for a half marathon with a coach and running mates,” Mario laughed, reflecting on his journey.
