Shooting incident leaves two KFC employees injured

Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred around 1:55 a.m. on Monday in South District, St. George.

The victims are a 36-year-old male, who is a contracted driver of KFC and a 53-year-old female employee of the same establishment. The woman was seated in the front passenger seat of the vehicle, which was being used to transport KFC employees, when an unknown male in a white motor car with an unidentified registration number opened fire.

Both victims were shot multiple times and were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by ambulance for treatment.

Police are appealing to the public for assistance as investigations continue.
