A man who admitted assaulting his girlfriend and damaging items belonging to her will learn his fate on Friday, after the complainant addresses the District “A” Magistrates’ Court.

Greg Antonio Lowe, 25, of Ocean View Road, Spooners Hill, St Michael, appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes yesterday charged with intentionally damaging a cellphone and a laptop belonging to Ashley Babb, or being reckless as to whether it would be damaged, and assaulting Babb and occasioning her actual bodily harm, all on New Year’s Day.
Prosecutor Sergeant Randolph Boyce said the two were in a relationship and on December 31, Babb and her daughter went over to Lowe’s residence. Around 2 a.m. on January 1, her phone rang but she ignored it. Soon after her mother reached out to her via social media.
Lowe entered the bedroom and accused the complainant of cheating on him. (SD)
