This year’s edition of the Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) gets under way on August 14 and runs until September 21.
Defending champions St Lucia Kings will compete against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Barbados Royals, Trinbago Knight Riders and Antigua and Barbuda Falcons across 34 matches to see who will be the CPL kings for 2025.
Chief executive officer (CEO) of the Republic Bank CPL, Pete Russell, was pleased to have the best regional talent available for this year’s competition.
“We are pleased to have once again worked with Cricket West Indies to find a window that allows the very best players from across the region to take part in the CPL. The 2024 season was our most successful to date and we are looking forward to building on that success in 2025,” he said.

This season will be the second in CPL history not to feature three-time champions Jamaica Tallawahs.
St Lucia Kings captured their first Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) title with a six-wicket victory over the Guyana Amazon Warriors at Providence Stadium last year. The Kings sealed their triumph with a superb unbeaten partnership of 88 runs between Barbadians Aaron Jones and Roston Chase, rescuing their side from a perilous position of 51 for 4 after 9.5 overs.
