Shooting victim identified

The deceased in the shooting incident on Wednesday night has been identified by a family member as 28-year-old Adio Omari Pile-Agard of Ulster Road, Lower Grazettes, St. Michael.

Police responded to reports of gunfire around 9 p.m. along Ayshford Road, St. Thomas. Upon arrival, they discovered Pile-Agard, who had sustained fatal injuries.

Reports indicate that he was shot by a lone assailant who fled the scene before authorities arrived.

This incident marks the seventh homicide for 2025.
